Founder
Hi, I’m Francine, a certified life coach, mother, and advocate for empowering young people to reach their full potential. As a mother to an intelligent adult daughter, I’ve had my own journey of growth and reflection. My daughter, [Daughter’s Name], often tells me she wishes I had been more strict with her schooling, and that’s a sentiment I understand deeply. While I wasn’t the most strict parent when it came to education, I’ve learned the value of guidance, structure, and support. This is why I founded The Glow Up Code Academy—to be the mentor I wish I had growing up.
Like many, I grew up without a strong support system. I longed for a dedicated guidance counselor who took pride in steering me in the right direction, and I wish my family had placed more emphasis on my education and future. Now, I want to fill that gap for others. My mission is to make an impact in the lives of young people who may not have the support they need from parents, family, or school counselors.
My own early adulthood was marked by financial struggles, poor spending habits, and bad credit. At 19, I became a mother, and my sole focus was survival—working hard to keep a roof over our heads and food on the table. Over time, I learned to recover from poor financial decisions, and today, I’m in a much healthier place, both financially and emotionally. My journey inspired me to create a platform where I can share the lessons I’ve learned and help others avoid the same mistakes.
With years of experience in the banking industry, including work as a credit analyst, and a history of starting my own nonprofit organization, I bring a wealth of knowledge to my role as a mentor and educator. Through The Glow Up Code Academy, I, Francine, am committed to providing the guidance, support, and resources that I wish I had and helping others build a brighter future.
